A few of you, the machines you play, and one honest answer: who actually leads on each one, and which ones you’re worst at. No organising, no fixtures, nothing public.

Just the people you already play with: mates, family, the four of you who go on a Thursday. Nothing to organise.

  • No season, and nothing to decide about scoring. Log what you get and the tables build themselves.
  • A board per machine: everyone’s best, so you can see who actually holds what.
  • Where you’re weakest, machine by machine against the others. That’s your practise list.
  • Private. You invite people with a short code; nobody outside can see it.

Setup: two questions

A league

Still your lot, with a bit more shape to it: a night that comes round again, a season that ends, and everyone agreeing how it’s scored.

  • Seasons you start and finish, so last year’s table stays as a record instead of running forever.
  • Say how it’s scored: a running ladder, top score on each machine, pinball golf, or match play if you do proper nights.
  • A home pub or arcade, if you all play in the same place. It turns up on that venue’s page.
  • Open to newcomers, if you fancy it, so regulars you haven’t met yet can find you.

Underneath they’re the same thing: a group is a league with the setup questions answered for you. Everything above is a default, not a decision: you can add a venue, change the scoring, go public or switch a group to a league later, and nothing you’ve logged is affected.

What you get

A group works from the first night, because you only need each other. The same table measured against every Silverball player waits until enough people have logged a score on the machine, which takes longer.
