About

AC/DC is one of Stern's great rock machines, designed by John Borg around the band's music and larger-than-life stage persona. The game uses twelve AC/DC songs as its backbone, with Angus Young's presence dominating the playfield.

The rules revolve around building songs and working through increasingly valuable objectives, while the bell and cannon give the machine a physical identity that suits the band's music perfectly.

It is loud, fast and wonderfully direct. Pick a song and learn its shots, AC/DC rewards players who stop randomly firing and start playing the music.

The Bell decides how much, the song decides what

Twelve songs each attach the scoring to a different part of the playfield. The Bell in the middle is separate from all of it, and it is where a good game turns into a big one.

  1. The bell

Hells Bells, hanging over the top of the playfield with AC/DC cast into it.

  2. T-N-T

Three targets stood in a row in the middle of the playfield, spelling out as you hit them.

  3. The cannon

The blue and brass barrel on the right-hand side, which is loaded and fired rather than shot at.

  4. The three multiballs

Jam, Album and Tour, named across the playfield above the flippers, with the cannon awards printed under them.
