UK Machine Record
Big Guns
Williams · 1987 · at 1 UK venue.
Big Guns is a Williams machine built around an exaggerated world of artillery, battles and firepower. The game takes a deliberately over-the-top approach to its theme, with large targets and aggressive gameplay to match.
The objective structure is relatively direct, putting the emphasis on completing targets and building towards multiball. It is a machine that rewards accurate shooting rather than complicated rules knowledge.
The name tells you most of what you need to know. Find the big targets, hit them hard and keep the guns firing.

Skill shot is very valuable and awards a free lock if lit
General4 tips
- General
Lock balls at far left and far right shots. Start multiball up the center lock shot.
- General
In multiball, shoot flashing lock shot to become 'invincible', then shoot lit guard targets in time to save queen for jackpot
- General
'Trolls' in upper playfield can be very valuable and safe, worth it if Jackpot is low or hard to get. Hit bank to lock in flashing value
- General
When you're invincible, avoid shooting the cannons! It will take a few seconds to release the ball again, which will waste time.

Skill shot is a soft plunge just past the upper right gate

No tutorials for this machine
We only list videos from a short list of channels we rate, and we never run a search to fill the gap — so most machines have none here rather than a page of whatever YouTube would have returned.
Nobody we follow has reviewed this one
Same short list of channels as the tutorials. A machine with no review here has not been passed over — it simply hasn’t been covered by anyone we list.
