About

Black Knight: Sword of Rage brings Steve Ritchie’s Black Knight concept into the modern era, with the Black Knight returning as the central opponent. The machine is fast, aggressive and built around the idea of challenging the player rather than politely waiting for them to succeed.

The game’s major objectives revolve around battling the Black Knight, building multiball and controlling the various ramps and targets. Magna-Save returns as an important part of the Black Knight identity, giving the player an active way to rescue dangerous balls.

The machine rewards confidence, but the speed means hesitation is punished quickly. Learn Magna-Save before you need it, and don’t be afraid to play aggressively.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
