About

Cheetah is an early Stern Electronics machine built around the speed and danger of its namesake. The artwork and theme give the game a distinctive character, while the playfield focuses on direct target and lane shooting.

The rules are uncomplicated, making the machine primarily a test of fundamentals. Good positioning and controlled shots are more useful than trying to find a complicated strategy.

The Cheetah theme says it all: speed matters, but control matters more. Play quickly, shoot accurately and don’t let the ball outrun you.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
