About
Creature from the Black Lagoon is one of Bally’s most atmospheric machines, turning the 1950s monster movie into a drive-in cinema complete with a holographic Creature lurking behind the screen.
John Trudeau’s design makes the movie itself part of the game. You work through the various shots and objectives to complete the film, while the Creature and the drive-in features provide the visual identity. The hologram may be the first thing you notice, but the underlying game is about controlling your progress towards the bigger features.
It is a machine that rewards accuracy without requiring an intimidating rulebook. Build the movie first. The Creature is waiting at the end of it.
