Silverball guide · Demolition Man
The machine lights the next shot for you
Demolition Man buries its scoring in something most players treat as a bonus. Combos are the game, and the machine goes out of its way to keep the chain alive if you let it.
UK Machine Record
Williams · 1994 · at 5 UK venues.
Demolition Man is one of Williams' fastest late-era machines, designed by Dennis Nordman around the futuristic world of the Stallone/Snipes film. The game is built around ramps, cryo chambers and a magnetic lock system that feeds the bigger scoring opportunities.
The speed is the first thing you notice, but the challenge is learning to control it. The important shots often return the ball quickly, giving you very little time to prepare for the next one.
It is an increasingly uncommon sight in British venues. The machine is fast enough already. Your job is to make the speed useful.

Using the handles instead of the flippers doubles the value of combos for your end of ball bonus.
Hit center scoop with the upper flipper, left ramp with the right flipper, and then the right ramp. This starts multiball in three shots
If the Cryo-claw is enabled (right ramp), always go for "Lock freeze" to get multiball or locks.
Shoot center & spell MTL to lite left inlane. Left ramp to lite claw. Right ramp for claw. Pick Lock Freeze to lite/start MB. Always do MB.
Top lanes awards bonus X, and also lights the next Claw award. 5X bonus is massive, especially if you play with the triggers and combo.
The Demolition Jackpot is cumulative for the whole game, and not just your most recent playthroughs of the four MBs.
Combos all day. When the claw is lit, take it. During MB try and light claw again via lanes at top. Once lit concentrate on jackpots.
During multiball hit top buttons on handles simultaneously for a free "secret" jackpot
Hitting both handle buttons scores points during: Awards from upper saucer, 3rd Capture Simon, 2nd Retina scan, U-Look-GR8-2Day, AcMag mode.
During a mode hit the top buttons on the handles simultaneously for a free mode shot. Only works once per game.
Complete all 5 cryo-claw modes then shoot scoop for Demolition Time MB. If crane is enabled, Lock Freeze for the 4 MBs is a better strategy.
***** When multiball is lit, shoot the centre and eventually the ball will go in the back scoop *****
