UK Machine Record
Earthshaker
Williams · 1989 · at 1 UK venue.
Earthshaker! is one of Pat Lawlor's great early designs and the first pinball machine to feature a moving playfield. The entire machine shakes during the earthquake feature, which is exactly as ridiculous and entertaining as it sounds.
The game is built around surviving earthquakes while completing the various objectives, with the moving section adding a physical challenge that still feels unusual today.
It is becoming increasingly rare in public UK locations, which makes it a particularly good machine to stumble across. Don't fight the earthquake. Control the ball before the shaking starts.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
