UK Machine Record
Embryon
Bally · 1981 · at 1 UK venue.
Embryon is one of Bally’s more unusual early-1980s machines, combining futuristic imagery with an organic, almost biological visual style. The playfield uses flowing lanes and targets to create a game that feels more mysterious than many machines of its period.
Its rules are relatively direct, with progression based around completing the various targets and features.
Embryon’s appeal is partly in its atmosphere and unusual artwork. Learn the flow of the playfield and let the strange world of Embryon unfold.

On most Embryons you can backhand the right saucer from a trap. A good strategy is to always shoot that saucer from either flipper.
Multiball1 tip
- Multiball
Multiball is very difficult to get to and doesn't award anything special. It's not worth going for.
General3 tips
- General
From left flipper shoot at saucer in top right corner. Then use upper flipper to complete drops for nice awards or shots across to top lanes
- General
From the right flipper always shoot the spinner. The 1 & 2 top lanes increase your bonus multiplier.
- General
There is a "hold bonus" at 20k and 40k. The rollovers on the top right advance bonus when lit. Shoot in upper right saucer to light them.
