About

Flash Gordon brings the comic-book space opera to Bally pinball, with Flash, Ming the Merciless and the various planets and characters forming the basis of the game.

The machine is built around a straightforward collection of targets and shots, with the player progressing through the different stages of the adventure. Its colourful artwork and sound create a strong sense of the original comic-book world.

The game is relatively direct, making shot accuracy more important than complicated strategy. Take on Ming one objective at a time and keep Flash moving.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
