About

Flight 2000 is one of Stern Electronics’ most famous early solid-state machines and a landmark in science-fiction pinball. The game sends the player on a futuristic space mission, with the objective of launching and locking balls before progressing towards multiball.

The rocket-launch sequence and ball-lock system give the machine a strong sense of progression. Despite its age, the basic structure remains remarkably easy to understand.

The game rewards deliberate shooting and preparation. Get the locks ready before you go for the big launch.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
