Genesis is a Gottlieb machine built around the futuristic idea of genetic evolution. The game uses a distinctive science-fiction theme and a relatively direct ruleset, with the player progressing through targets and features to build towards increasingly valuable objectives.
The unusual artwork and mechanical layout give it a character that is very much of its era, while the game itself rewards straightforward shot-making.
It is a machine where understanding the sequence is more important than memorising a huge rulebook. Build your progression one target at a time.

Multiball2 tips

Collect lit body parts to adv. playfield multiplier by 1x for each part. Once a part is complete, a ramp will flash to start multiball.

Playfield is double whatever the current x value is during multiball, for example, 4 parts collected = 5x in single play, 10x in multiball
General4 tips

Shooting 123 drops in order adds a letter to each part but beware outlane drains. All parts collected lights varitarget for 500k

Complete all 4 body parts to light "life force generator" on vari-target. Target must go all the way back. Now you can get more multipliers.

During Multiball, nail the vari-target for big points.

It's good to get Arms and Legs first because of the quick multipliers.
