UK Machine Record
Indiana Jones
Stern · 2008 · at 3 UK venues.
Indiana Jones turns the adventures of the famous archaeologist into a globe-spanning pinball game. Designed by Joe Balcer, the machine draws from several of the films, giving the player a series of relics to recover, villains to defeat and adventures to complete.
The game is structured around collecting artefacts and progressing through the different film-based modes. The Idol, Path of Adventure and various ramp shots provide the physical features, while the rules give each adventure its own objectives.
There is a lot happening, but the overall idea is simple: go looking for trouble and come back with the treasure. Pick an adventure and see it through; Indy didn’t get the idol by giving up halfway.

Multiball1 tip
- Multiball
Shooting Temple of Doom repeatedly is a relatively safe/valuable MB. The 8 ball Ark multiball isn't worth 19 shots.
General3 tips
- General
If the Last Crusade saucer is safely catchable from the left and is backhandable, it can be looped for the entire game to get big points.
- General
Bonus multipliers are unlimited. Shoot the M-A-P captive balls repeatedly to advance the multipliers for huge bonus.
- General
In competition, only the Temple of Doom shot should be prioritized. Look three, everything is lit for 1 million. Super is the Temple of Doom shot. Super safe and easy too.
Skill shot2 tips
- Skill shot
The "Advance Scene" skillshot is worth a free 1M points and advances 1M each time you select it if you don't have much to make up.
- Skill shot
Be careful plunging Extra Balls. Don't throw it into the pops if you're one shot away from Last Crusade or you might start the mode.
