About
James Bond 007 is George Gomez's take on six decades of Bond cinema, and it feels considerably more like a Bond film than many licensed machines feel like their source material. The game pulls from multiple films rather than concentrating on one incarnation of 007, with missions built around the character's most famous assignments.
The game has a very deliberate flow to it. The major shots are clearly defined, but the rules encourage you to think about how missions interact rather than simply completing whichever insert happens to be flashing.
It is particularly appropriate for the UK, where Bond is about as culturally familiar as a film licence gets. You will find it in serious UK collections and tournament environments as well as more general arcades. Think like Bond: know the mission before you start shooting.
