Johnny Mnemonic
Williams · 1995 · at 2 UK venues.
Johnny Mnemonic is a fascinating example of a game whose pinball reputation outlived its film. Lonnie Ropp's design revolves around the magnetic glove, which dominates the centre of the playfield and gives the machine one of the most unusual mechanisms of the Bally era.
The objective is to collect data and progress through the game's increasingly valuable objectives, with the glove allowing the player to manipulate the ball in ways that feel almost unfair when you're not expecting them.
It is not a common UK location machine, so it is worth stopping when you find one. Learn the glove before you try to exploit it. It can help you enormously, or ruin your ball.

We only list videos from a short list of channels we rate, and we never run a search to fill the gap — so most machines have none here rather than a page of whatever YouTube would have returned.
