About

Junk Yard is a colourful Pat Lawlor machine that turns a scrapyard into a playground of strange inventions and mechanical surprises. The player works through a collection of junkyard objectives while interacting with features that feel deliberately improvised.

The crane, dog and various pieces of scrap give the game its personality, but beneath the comedy is a surprisingly demanding set of shots. Progress comes from completing the different junkyard activities and building towards the larger features.

It is classic Lawlor: quirky on the surface, considerably deeper underneath. Explore the junkyard, but keep an eye on what each feature is actually doing for your game.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
