The song is the clock
Song modes are not a menu of equals and they do not wait for you. Each runs for exactly as long as the track does, and when the music ends so does your claim on that record.
UK Machine Record
Stern · 2020 · at 6 UK venues.
Led Zeppelin is Stern's attempt to turn one of the biggest rock bands in history into a playable concert. The game follows the band's career from 1968 to 1980 and uses ten songs as the backbone of its rules. The Hindenburg Zeppelin, Icarus and three steel ramps provide the physical highlights, while Premium and LE machines add the Electric Magic mechanism.
It is a fast, relatively open game that rewards players who can repeatedly find the major shots. The music changes as you progress, making it one of the Stern machines where the soundtrack is genuinely part of the game rather than background noise.
In the UK, Led Zeppelin has an obvious advantage: the band is British, and the machine feels like a particularly appropriate piece of rock history to encounter here. Play it loud, but remember the song progression matters more than the volume.

All of these tips are too high level. Just hit the far left scoop (green shot) to qualify tour modes, choose tour, complete the objectives, then shoot the scoop again to start tour multiball. Regular multi-ball is three left ramps
Do NOT start Icarus (playfield multiplier) until all 4 sets of stand ups have some combo value. Do not start if one of the 4 is 1.0x
Combos build Icarus. Complete a combo by hitting one of the 4 sets of standups.
Complete lit shots and hit switches to gain Record Sales. 100k Sales = 1 Gold Record. 5 GRs lights "Change Song", 10 GRs "completes" a song.
Lit shot patterns are choreographed to the verses/phrases of each song. In general, solos will light only the Center Ramp for looping shots.
Start each game with 1 "Band Boost." Use 1 Boost = auto-cash combo; in MB, 1 Icarus hit. Get more via 5/10 Gold Records & using Change Song.
Save 3 Band Boosts (limit 5) for a Super Band Boost. Allows combo auto-cash towards 2 banks, or MB Add-A-Ball separate from Icarus AAB!
The left ramp locks balls for Zeppelin Multiball. For later multiballs, spell ROCK with the standups on the right to relight locks.
