Maverick brings the Wild West comedy of the film to Data East pinball, with poker, gunfights and frontier adventure providing the game’s central themes.
The machine combines Western targets and features with poker-style objectives, giving the player a mixture of shooting and gambling challenges. The film’s humour comes through in the presentation, while the gameplay remains focused on straightforward progression.
It is a game that rewards players who know which objective they are currently pursuing. Play the hand, win the shootout and don’t let the house take your ball.

Complete the flashing drop target bank before the Discard reaches zero to score Chip(s). Hitting the wrong bank's drops decreases Discard.

Shooting the Vertical Up-Kicker at the top scoop plays Blackjack to relight the kickback. It also allows you to Raise or Fold your hand.

The Lauren Bell mode is the most valuable. Shoot the orbits for increasing points.
