About

Monopoly takes the classic board game and converts its property-buying, trading and collecting mechanics into pinball. Stern’s design uses the familiar board, properties and tokens to create a game where progression feels like building a Monopoly position.

The objective structure rewards players for collecting and completing properties while working towards larger features. The familiar board-game elements make the machine easy to understand even if you’ve never played the pinball version before.

The challenge is turning that familiarity into a useful strategy. Buy the right properties, build your position and remember that the pinball machine is trying to bankrupt you.

No guide to Monopoly yet

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
