NBA Fastbreak is Bally’s attempt to turn basketball into a competitive pinball game. The machine uses the language of basketball, teams, shots, scoring and possession, to create a game that feels more like a sporting contest than a traditional collection of pinball modes.
The mechanical basketball features are central to the experience, while the various shots build towards scoring opportunities and multiball.
It is a machine that rewards rhythm and accuracy, much like the sport it represents. Get possession, make your shots and keep the pressure on.

All left scoop modes are good. 1st backglass game, 2nd all shots worth 3 points, 3rd trivia , and 4th ramps are worth 3 points each

In an IFPA event, championship rings are worth 100 points. Notify other players when you earn one as they are not shown on the final score.

make a shot from each of the 4 upper saucers to start MB. Use flipper buttons to move from saucer to saucer.

In backglass game (started from left saucer), always shoot the ball when the "3 points" value is shown on DMD to maximize the mode value.

When shooting baskets from saucers, try to collect leftmost or rightmost first. The others are occasionally collected from failed ramp shots

There's no bonus on this game, don't worry about tilting when trying to save the ball

Yellow targets on right lites Rebound on left outlane = virtual kickback
