Nine Ball turns pool into pinball, using the numbered balls and rules of the game as the basis for its objectives. Stern Electronics created a machine where the player works through the sequence of pool balls while trying to reach the final ball.
The theme gives the game an unusually clear progression. Each target has a purpose, and completing the sequence moves you closer to the game’s larger objectives.
It rewards precision rather than random shooting. Treat the numbered targets like a pool table; plan the next shot before you take it.
