About

Police Force is a Williams machine built around the world of law enforcement, with the player taking on a series of police-themed objectives.

The game uses targets, ramps and modes to represent police missions, giving the player a clear sense of progressing through different incidents. Its late-1980s design is relatively straightforward compared with modern games.

It rewards players who concentrate on completing the current objective rather than firing randomly around the playfield. Pick the call, respond to it and complete the job.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
