About

Pool Sharks turns a game of billiards into a colourful Bally pinball table. The objective is built around shooting numbered pool balls and progressing through the game, giving the player a natural sequence of targets rather than an enormous collection of unrelated rules.

The pool theme works particularly well because the shots have a clear purpose. Completing the various ball targets builds towards larger features, while the playfield itself has the bright, cartoon-like character associated with Bally games of the period.

Approach it like a pool player rather than a pinball player. Think about the next shot before you take the one you’re making.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
