Pulp Fiction

Chicago Gaming's Pulp Fiction is one of the more interesting modern machines because it deliberately feels like a pinball machine from another era while using modern rules and hardware. Designed by Gerry Stellenberg, it takes Quentin Tarantino's film and splits its story into a collection of recognisable scenes.

The machine is relatively compact and shot-focused, with the various characters and scenes providing the rules structure. It is a game that rewards accuracy rather than simply throwing the ball around the playfield.

It has become an increasingly interesting machine to encounter in the UK because it sits outside the usual Stern/Bally/Williams conversation. Don't try to recreate the film; play the scenes the machine gives you.
