Rocky brings the world of boxing to Gottlieb pinball, with the player stepping into the ring and taking on the challenge of becoming a champion.
The game uses boxing targets and features to represent training, fighting and progression towards the big bout. The theme gives the table an obvious sense of purpose: improve your position and eventually go the distance.
Like boxing, pinball here is about timing and endurance. Keep your guard up, pick your shots and go the distance.

Ten drop targets represent the rounds of the boxing match while playing the game. Drop the target for the round you are in to win the round.

Extra Ball target in upper right corner is lit after player has completed ten rounds of boxing. Drop the target when lit for an extra ball.

Green button on the left side allows an instant round win when pressed, twice per game, when the instant win light on lower center is lit.
