Spirit is a Gottlieb machine built around a mysterious supernatural theme. The artwork and presentation create an eerie atmosphere while the gameplay remains rooted in the target and bonus structures of early-1980s pinball.
The machine rewards players who learn its layout and concentrate on the important shots rather than simply firing at whatever is available.

Shoot lit captures to lock balls. Lock 3 for multiball. Scoring multiplied by number of balls in play.

Open stargate from lit outlane target or lit green horseshoe, then shoot under ramp to start multiball. 1-4 lights horeshoe.

Try to get into the outlanes, they're fairly safe thanks to the extra flippers, and are the easiest way to get multiball

Drop banks give letters in SPIRIT, complete for Special (hopefully extra ball if the game's set up right).
