About

Terminator 2 is Steve Ritchie's version of the future war, and it is one of those machines where the physical gameplay immediately matches the theme. The player uses the gun to launch balls and complete missions while the Terminator and Skynet provide the long-term objectives.

The game is much more about controlled speed than its cinematic presentation suggests. The ramps and loops are the key to building progress, while the gun gives you a very satisfying way of interacting with the game.

It remains a popular UK classic because it is immediately accessible but still rewarding to master. Aim the gun before you fire it. The machine doesn't care how impressive the shot looks if it doesn't help the game.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
