Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Williams · 1991 · at 1 UK venue.
Terminator 2 is Steve Ritchie's version of the future war, and it is one of those machines where the physical gameplay immediately matches the theme. The player uses the gun to launch balls and complete missions while the Terminator and Skynet provide the long-term objectives.
The game is much more about controlled speed than its cinematic presentation suggests. The ramps and loops are the key to building progress, while the gun gives you a very satisfying way of interacting with the game.
It remains a popular UK classic because it is immediately accessible but still rewarding to master. Aim the gun before you fire it. The machine doesn't care how impressive the shot looks if it doesn't help the game.

General6 tips
- General
Shoot left and right ramps to eventually start Payback Time. All shots are 5 million for a limited time.
- General
If you can't get line of sight to line up the cannon (other machine in the way, etc) try leaning over the glass and looking straight down.
- General
If you've only got one ball left in multiball, don't bother going for 1x jackpot before it times out
- General
When aiming cannon shots, it helps to put your eyes directly behind the cannon and line up a straight shot.
- General
Comboing ramps for Payback Time is a viable competitive strategy as it does not get harder to reach the mode, unlike the multiball
- General
PAYBACK TIME: after getting the CPU on both will lit “PAYBACK TIME” for 20 seconds. All strobe targets, both outside lanes & ramps scores 5 million points each. Try to get as much as you can.
Multiball4 tips
- Multiball
The cannon and Super Jackpot lights both strobe in a consistent manner. Learn where they converge for easier Super Jackpot collects.
- Multiball
To start multiball: Put ball in skull, hit flashing target with gun. During multiball: Lock balls at flashing shots, shoot gun again
- Multiball
Don't try to keep the balls alive at the expense of your super jackpot. The 50 million is worth too much
- Multiball
Super Jackppt: lock the ball in the cannon to activate “Super Jackpot”. When the cannon starts moving downwards, the moving targets will move down as well & wait for the target is at the bottom & fire the cannon & receive 50 million.

We only list videos from a short list of channels we rate, and we never run a search to fill the gap — so most machines have none here rather than a page of whatever YouTube would have returned.
