Time Machine is Data East’s science-fiction machine about travelling through different periods of history. The player moves between eras, with the machine using its theme to create a sense of progression through time.
The various targets and features represent different destinations, while the rules encourage the player to work through the available periods.
The concept gives the game a natural objective: keep moving forward. Don’t get stuck in the past; make the shots that send you into the next era.

Shoot right ramp repeatedly to spot stand-ups and lock balls. During multiball shoot left ramp for jackpot.

Hit stand-ups during multiball to add to your jackpot, but you can't shoot the same target over and over since it lights solid

One strategy is to just shoot the STAR WARP ramp (center ramp) over and over. Spell STAR WARP and hit again for big points.
