About

World Poker Tour takes the atmosphere of a televised poker tournament and turns it into a fast, casino-themed Stern machine. The game uses poker hands, cards and tournament play as the structure for its objectives, with the player building towards increasingly valuable poker combinations.

The central idea is unusually well suited to pinball: shots and targets collect cards, while completing poker hands provides the bigger rewards. The game therefore gives you something to think about beyond simply making the next shot.

It rewards players who understand the value of building hands rather than chasing everything at once. Think like a poker player: build your hand before you go all-in.

Guides here are compiled against the machine’s published rules, credited to what they were built from, and dated. That makes them slow: the machines standing on the most UK floors get one first — but anyone who plays this machine can write their own.
