About

Revenge from Mars is the sequel to Attack from Mars, but it is a very different machine. Instead of the traditional solid playfield, Williams used a revolutionary projection system to put video effects directly onto the playfield.

The game keeps the alien-invasion theme but introduces a more cinematic structure, with video sequences and missions replacing some of the simplicity of the original. It never became as universally loved as Attack from Mars, but that is part of what makes it interesting now.

It is an increasingly unusual machine to encounter in Britain. Don't expect Attack from Mars 2.0. Treat it as its own game and enjoy the strange technology.

Complete is not the same as Flawless

Nine modes start themselves, run once and never come back. Only the ones you finish Flawlessly light a saucer, and the machine keeps offering you a shot that ends the mode before you have earned it.
