The Simpsons Pinball Party is one of Stern's deepest early-2000s machines, designed by Joe Balcer and built around the enormous cast and world of Springfield. The game takes a deliberately chaotic theme and turns it into a surprisingly serious rules challenge.
The objective structure is based around completing different Simpsons-related activities, eventually leading towards the famous Party mode. The machine contains a huge amount of content, which means it can take many games before you stop discovering new things.
It is still a highly regarded UK tournament and collection machine. Don't chase the flashing Simpsons character every time. Work towards the bigger objectives.

Every timed thing on this machine runs on a single shared clock, and starting anything new resets it to thirty seconds. Keep feeding it and everything you have started keeps running, which is how a frenzy mode lasts ten minutes.

If you hold up the left flipper up when the ball is being fired out of the Itchy & Scratchy hole it may lazarus to the right flipper
Almost everything is stackable on this game. Right orbit lights TV modes - hit it and get the TV modes stacked for faster scoring.
You can stack every modes as long as there's time on the TV. Reset the timer by starting another mode/going to Otto (to the left of R ramp)
Shoot the garage to get to the upper pf. Shoot the horseshoe to start modes. Shoot the couch to lock balls toward MB
On most machines you can cradle the ball on the left upper PF flipper when it comes up - making it easier to aim shots.
Very few features are worth a lot on their own. Poorly playing several modes at the same time is generally better than playing one well.
Complete TV modes to adv to Alien Invasion. The more you complete the longer time you get to complete AI. Timeout modes to get AI quicker.
Otto makes a shot 2X until time on the board runs out. Through proper play, you can get most of the playfield at 2X at once. Watch the time.
11 shots to Otto (when lit) qualifies Mystery Spot multiball. Wait for the timer to run out then shoot Otto to start it.
Get Itchy and Scratchy ready while you load the couch for Couch Multi. Start couch 1st - you'll get I&S going easy for double the jackpots
