About

Wheel of Fortune brings the television game show to Stern pinball, with the famous wheel becoming the centrepiece of the game. The player spins for prizes, completes puzzles and works through a series of game-show-style objectives.

The machine cleverly turns the basic structure of the television programme into pinball. Letters, phrases and prizes become part of the rules, while the wheel provides a physical feature that makes the theme immediately recognisable.

The key is understanding what the current puzzle is asking you to complete. Solve the puzzle in front of you rather than simply spinning the wheel and hoping for the jackpot.

The centre ramp is a reroll

The wheel sets the numbers your modes pay, and two of its wedges are worth nothing at all. The centre ramp spins it again. Knowing that turns a machine that feels like a slot machine into one you can actually play.
