About
White Water turns a white-water rafting trip into one of Williams’ most enjoyable flow games. Dennis Nordman’s design revolves around navigating the river, with ramps, the Whirlpool, Lost Mine and the famous Bigfoot feature all contributing to your progress.
The layout encourages you to keep the ball moving, with satisfying ramp shots feeding into a game that gradually becomes more dangerous as you progress down the river. The rules are deep enough to reward experienced players without getting in the way of the basic fun of shooting the table.
The key to White Water is learning to control the pace rather than simply ring at whichever shot looks most attractive. Get comfortable with the ramps first. A controlled run down the river is worth more than a heroic plunge into the Whirlpool.

Doing a full plunge will send the ball screaming down towards the flippers. Instead soft plunge to to upper flipper for an easy side shot.

Keep track of the lit award in the pops, stacking 5X playfield with multiball is where big points can be scored.

Lite locks by hitting the green stand ups on either side of No Way Out. When lit, lock balls inside No Way Out.

At start of MB, you're given 3 shots on Insanity Falls for 1x, 2x, or 3x jackpot. Your score determines the jackpot for the rest of MB.

Use the flippers to change lit inlane so that ball hits the *lit* lane. This awards a letter in RIVER, and 250k.

If you miss the first two IF shots in MB, don't go for the third. Advance rafts where you can, and take the MB restart.

Go to the whirlpool w/o getting in the bumpers first: it'll award a 2 ball MB. Keep shooting the lock and then whirlpool for big points.
