Silverball guide · WHO Dunnit
Do not catch the killer yet
Solving a case starts a new one, and a new case wipes your clues. Since five clues in a single case light an extra ball, the mystery is often worth leaving unsolved a while longer.
UK Machine Record
Bally · 1995 · at 2 UK venues.
Who Dunnit is one of Bally's more unusual 1990s games, replacing the usual collection of modes with a murder mystery. Dwight Sullivan's design makes the player investigate suspects, search locations and piece together clues while the pinball itself keeps trying to kill you.
The elevator, phone and magnifying glass all contribute to the detective theme, giving the game a personality that is very different from most machines of the period.
It is relatively uncommon in UK venues, which makes it a particularly satisfying discovery. Listen to the clues. The game is actually telling you what to do.
